Hi Everyone,

I have been truly shocked by what I've seen what this Tsunami has done. I sincerely hope that none of you or close ones have been harmed or affected in any way. And you are all in my thoughts.

My 2011 Tokyo Marathon

I did my first marathon, the 2007 Tokyo marathon, more or less totally unprepared. It was hell. I gave it my all for about 10 kilometers, and then ran out of energy. I forced myself to keep moving and eventually finished with a time of 6:16. I couldn't walk properly and…

Sayonara

"Leaving on a jet plane don`t know when I`ll be coming back again."

I`m currently waiting for my 6:30 flight to Korea. But before I go I`ve really enjoyed my stay. It`s been great catching up with everyone I know, and a pleasure to meet others for the first time. I`d also like to thank "Der Juegenmeister" for his hospitality. Don`t worry Juergen I didn`t burn down your house when you were away.

I`m certainly sad to go but no worries as there is a good chance I`ll be back in the…

I was at the 17k/28k mark, near Osaka castle, so I could see everybody twice. As I wanted to cheer for the slower runners as well, I did not go to Nagai Stadium to see the finish of the winners.…
