Held in a very pleasant park surrounding a reservoir. Great nature and my dog Prince was free to run around and greet everyone. I was not expecting such a nice day, and great to see so many Nanban people running (Elsie/Adrian) organizing (Bernd, Juegen (Race Director), Greg, Masako, Chiba etc….).
The course was 2 loops around the resevoir. Mostly flat and no u turns, so fast. Delighted to run 2 minutes and 20 seconds faster than my last 10k at the vegetable marathon 1 month ago. My…

Weekly Training Session
Our main group activity is a weekly interval track session on Wednesday nights. A typical workout is 6 x 1,000m, although on the last Wednesday of the month we do a 5,000m time trial with a Japanese club. At these sessions we generally have 20-30 people, both men and women, ranging from fairly strong to rather slow runners. The training is at a nice all-weather track between Harajuku and Shibuya. A locker room with showers is available. We generally start warming up about 7:00 and start the workout at 7:35 (time trial at 7:25). After the workout we go to Shibuya for beer and food.
