Interesting Juergen! I see that you're fond of your 1ks. Try and incorporate threshold and sub threshold work. One's anareobic threshold is just as important if not more than your VO2. And even more so as we get older because VO2 work can be very stressful.

4. I had a great ride today, it is a bit uphill, but I had tailwind. After the 45k on the bike, I went for a 12k run in the hills - 300m straight up - and was about 20min faster than last time (1:33->1:13)! I am really getting over my injury!
