Running in Tokyo/Japan - Marathon/Clubs/Track Races

I ran Naruki Forest Trail Run yesterday. This is first event organized by KFC.(the same organizer as ohme-takamizu)
I had run oxfam trailwalker the week before. So I didn't expect much before the race though,
I had good start and enjoyed the race very much. I kept 9th position until last 5km.
But once I got to my hate slippy downhill parts. I started slow down and passed by 3 people.
I ended up with 12th place.

The result is 1:19:58 (12/384). In spite of the condition, time was not bad. My taraget time was less than 1:30;)

The winner of this race is Kiyokatsu Hasegawa, he finished in  incredible 1:06.
He is real athlete in JR Higashi Nihon.
His half marathon record is 1:02 and 2:15 for full marathon!

Well done! Great effort to go well under your target time.  But bad luck on the slippy parts. But you must be very pleased with your performance.

Great job, Yoshi! Tell us more about these events in the future - though I would not have run this one - as opposed to you, I take my time after the TRAILWALKER. People who do the TRAILWALKER have to be a bit crazy, but in order to do this, you have to be yoshi... (Mind the small letter, it's a new adjective, everybody can easily figure out what it means by reading this report!).
Keep it up!
