'Bikila' Ethiopia's barefoot Olympian by Tim Judah.2008.
Pretty good book. Nothing much about his training but quite a bit about his life after his second Olympic Gold.
'Run to Overcome' by Meb Keflezighi.2010
This is a really good book. Amazing what this guy had to overcome in his early life and also his many injuries.Lots of great race descriptions.

Jon. Top run yesterday. To run the Melbourne marathon a minute quicker than you did 34 years ago is frightening! The chances of someone achieving what you did is a zillion to one! What is the secret? Can't be the lattes at Buddhas Belly! lol. If you have time could you write a blog : your marathon highs and lows-maybe a yearly progession, and your training. Anyway really pleased for you mate. And thank you so much because you've shown that age can no longer be counted as a barrier. Now I feel inspired to go faster than my marathon debut (2:35) in Seoul in March. Best wishes . Now have a MASSIVE pavlova. "O"
