Running in Tokyo/Japan - Marathon/Clubs/Track Races

Just in case you didn't notice, the pre-registration for the 2010 Tokyo Marathon has opened. Here is the site:

This year they have made it clear that if you can read and write Japanese, you can use the Japanese website for an entry fee of 10,000 yen. If you choose the English/International site, it will be 12,000 yen. The application period end on the 31st.

That could be a good idea. I registered using the international/English site last year (used my Japanese address though) and made it in with no problem. Possibly there's an international entrant quota that they want to satisfy...

I wonder if you have a better chance of being accepted if you use the English site??? I am certainly going to and also submit my Australian address.
