I ran 10K race, Shinrin Koen Manso Marathon, at Saitama yesterday.
As saying my result first, I set another PB! :)
Weather was crowdy and but not too cold, so I would say it was a good condition for runners. The course was very hilly, almost no flat part, keep up and down.
Personally, I like hilly course. I prefer variation on the course, so I enjoyed this one.
But keep up and down tires your legs quickly. I learned my upper body strength is quite important, especially, for this kind of races. I tried to repositioned my upper body many time because I realized sometimes at the hilly courses, your posture getting off the proper position.
I guess I did great.
I have never looked at my watch after 4-5K point, but I finished 47min37sec, which is almost a minute shorter than previous race 2 weeks ago.
This one was really a good race to aim another PB at Oume, because I expect Oume course is somehow the similar setting to this one.
