Running in Tokyo/Japan - Marathon/Clubs/Track Races

東京でのマラソン・陸上・駅伝・・・・・体を鍛えて、環境を守ってエコマラソン

This morning about  12 members competed in the Kanagawa Half Marathon and 10 k races. Everyone ran well, but the real star was Naoko who clocked a personal best time. And thanks to Chiba San for organizing a delicious Chinese meal.

Hehe, yes, need a pace-maker! But here, it is just too cold to do track-reps, will run long next Sunday!

Frank I think Juergen misses you very much.

Yeah, Frank, it’s time to beat your ageing rival! Allez la France!

Good work Frank! Sub 1:20 soon! And I second that ..... Thank you Chika, your good will was much appreciated.

I ran this one for the second time, and I beat my last year time : 1:25:59 net (I hoped about 1:28). 60th place in my category. Still far from my PB but I' am quite satisfied.
Special thanks to Chika who kept our valuables

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely make sure I am ready for a 42k! Until then I will train and run in 10K-, Half-M and maybe 30K!

Just take your time. Don't rush into it as you have a dodgy achilles. And these things do have an annoying habit of getting injured again if you're not careful.

Thank-you so much. I am a new runner. I used to be a sprinter in my student days...hated distance. I ruptured my achilles playing futsol, as rehab I started running...quit smoking in the process. I never thought I would finish a Half_marathon in my life! Kanagawa was my first race, Akabane my second...getting hooked already! I am not ready for a Full yet...but like to run one within the year!
