Running in Tokyo/Japan - Marathon/Clubs/Track Races

東京でのマラソン・陸上・駅伝・・・・・体を鍛えて、環境を守ってエコマラソン

Ran the 31st annual Sakura FULL Marathon in a Personal Best 4hr 30min(29net?)despite injuries and limited training. I planned on just 30k then quitting but the marathon gods seduced me to finish all 42.195km. I can still walk albeit painfully so I have the gods to thank for that I suppose. The course was farmy, fieldy, hilly and scenic. The weather was sunny except between 28k-35k where it became cloudy, cold and showery. All in all it was a very tough, painful but satisfying race for me. I truely respect anyone crazy enough to run these things.!

Try to run a half-marathon in about 1:50, and do a lot of long runs. Some, but not many of them, at race-pace. BTW, better than pic is blog!
