This was the Save The Children 10k race. 2.021 laps of Tokyo`s Imperial Palace and another nice race by www.runningintokyo.com team. Managed to get a decent time that is more than 2 minutes faster than my last 10k on same course 4 weeks ago at the TELL 10K. 4th place overall out of 200 or so happy. 2 more KG down and ready for Tri season at race weight I was at in 2010. Held in a very pleasant park surrounding a reservoir. Great nature and my dog Prince was free to run around and greet everyone. I was not expecting such a nice day, and great to see so many Nanban people running (Elsie/Adrian) organizing (Bernd, Juegen (Race Director), Greg, Masako, Chiba etc….).

This was a very unexpected pleasant result; achieving 3^rd overall at the 2010

Tateyama Triathlon in Chiba prefecture, Japan. It surprised everyone that after years of over

indulgence, there can still be an athlete inside me. There were 100 male

participants for this 25.75km race. I was 16^th out of the swim

section, 4^th by end of bike portion, and then just 12…
