Very Hot Track Race In Melbourne

Tamami-san and I raced over 2km on the track last night in Melbourne. in 36 degree heat. I managed 4th in 8.04 and Mi-chan (first women) got her 3rd PB in 7 days in 9.05. Very Interesting conditions!

BTW, I wonder why you appear off-line eventhough you write comments, I should try to change the settings here....

Comment by Jon Holmes on January 15, 2009 at 2:13pm: Yes they are lots of fun...we have just started a 5Km competition...first Tuesday of the month a 5Km...you get points and highest wins trophy at end of year...but we will be in Japan so no chance.

Comment by Jon Holmes on January 15, 2009 at 1:35pm: Yes...every Tuesday night there is a veteran (Masters) meet with sprint/middle and long(ish) races. Competition is not very high but I still can not win! But racing on the track ceratinly tells you where you are speed/fitness wise.
