彩湖エコマラソンに参加された方からの感想です！

私は走歴3年目で、いままで幾つかの国内レースの経験がありますが、エコマラソン

はとても印象的だったので自分の感想を共有します。

①とにかく"楽しい"雰囲気

FUN Runレースなので、競い合うだけではなく、"みんなで楽しもう"という主催者側

の気持ちがとても感じられました。外国人アーティストの生演奏もあり、野外フェスの

ようでした。スタッフや参加者には外国人も多く、アナウンスが二ヶ国語というのも珍

しかったです。

②エコなマラソンイベント
レース間ではエコをテーマにしたセミナーが行われました。雨水を利用した洗濯方法

や無添加石鹸のプレレゼント、大学生ゼミの環境保護の紙芝居。ブースにはオーガ

ニック食品や環境に優しい素材を使ったシューズの販売もありました。無料のカイロ

プラクティックブースはレース後とても助かりました。

③コースについて
彩湖4.7kmを2周する10kmと1周の5km部門。緑豊かなコースで、キンモクセイの香り

が心地良いし、周りの風景も楽しめるので飽きずに気持ちよく走れます。

レースの写真や上位のリザルトは主催者のWebサイト「running tokyo」に当日アップ

されており、自分の写真も何枚か見つけることができました。

A letter of gratitude by a participant of Saiko Eco!

I have been running for three years, and I have run a several races in Japan, but the Eco-marathon was especially impressive, so I would like to express my gratitude.

1. Most of all, a great atmosphere!

The race was called a “fun-run”, so not mainly competition, the intention of the organizers to have fun and let people have fun could easily be felt. A live-performance by a foreign artist, it was like an open-air-party. Among the staff, there were a lot of foreigners, and you rarely have bi-lingual announcements in Japan.

2 The eco-marathon events

During the break between the races, there was a seminar about ecology focusing on rainwater utilization and environmentally friendly detergents. We even received some as a present! University students gave a Japanese style presentation (Kamishibai) about environmental problems. Several booths were selling organic foods. And chiropractors offered their services free of charge.

3. The course

A loop around Lake Saiko is 4.7k, so the 10k race had two loops, the 5k one. The course was rich in greenery, and you could smell the fragrance of flowers. I kept enjoying the nature while running!
