The course is challenging - I did it last year and would definitely recommend going out easy.
I assume you will be staying at Juergen's and joining group for dinner.
Do you plan to get a pass to the Resort Hot Springs? Perhaps you can spend time with us at Resort until dinner at 7pm then after dinner get ride back to Issey house after dinner?
