Event Description

Run or walk the 1.3 km course around the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery. Donate an amount for each lap you complete. Prizes for most laps and most amount raised, so get your sponsors now! Please sign up here (takes 2 sec):

Let's not stay home and brood when we can be out doing something to help the people in Tohoku and get some exercise at the same time! Run/walk starts at 3 pm and finishes at 4:30 pm. Join for any or all!

This event is organised by friends in Tokyo, I will be in Kyoto and will be running at Kamogawa for the same purpose. If you want to join me, contact me on this site.

I tentatively plan to meet at Hitomachikouryukan Volunteer Center at 2pm on Saturday, and run to Kamogawa from there, starting at 2:30

Actually, I just wrote to Francis (Eldoret/Kenya) and Ernesto (Buenos Aires). It would be wonderful if these people came on board!

Comment by Ho Tsai on March 18, 2011 at 7:59pm: Just came back to the States on 3/17, Thursday, after 10 day vivstin the family in Tokyo and Isesaki City area. Therefore, I am very sorry to say I will have to miss the event. This charity run somehow gives me the idea to have one in Ormond Beach , Florida. Will try to organize one and will keep you posted.
