Hakusan Geotrail 2019 in Japan

The Hakusan Geotrail is self-supported 6 stages race of 7 days. The race is from August 25 to 31 in 2019. The competitor check in August 24. The awards banquet is August 31.

Along the 250 kilometers / 155 miles and more 15,000 meters of positive and negative height gain (without parallel in the world) of the Hakusan Geotrail course, the terrain will include grasslands, farmlands, dirt tracks, riverbeds, rolling hills, mountain valleys, plains and plateaus.

Hakusan geotrail is the toughest in the world of Self-surpported, 7 day, 250 km, 6 stage footrace!

Competitors will pass through local villages and grazing lands where shepherds tend to their flocks.

The course has a number of highlights, including the Mt.Hakusan National Park area (where the famous sacred mountain of Japan), Mt.Hakusan (2,702m height), Hakusan-Tedorigawa geopark, Syugendou; Japanese mountain asceticism-shamanism incorporating Shinto and Buddhist concepts.

Located in the foothills of Mt.Hakusan. Mt.Hakusan is the Japanese Mont Blanc. Athletes are provided with water and a place to stay in a tent each day and are also supported by professional medical and operations teams.
