now back with both 5K and 10K for beginners and funrunners！

～thinking about what runners can do for the environment～

In recent days we are seeing increasing energy saving awareness. So, for the sake of us and our future generations, let’s start thinking about our precious environment.

When:      9 October (Sun), 2011  Starting at 10:30AM

The race:            -10km (men and women, 350 entries)

-5km (fun-run for men and women, 350 entries)

Time limit:  1.5hrs (10k), 1h (5k) Plenty of time for beginners!

Qualifications:    At least at high school age and in good health

Where  Saiko-Doman Green Park (彩湖道満グリーンパーク),  (toda-greenpark.or.jp)　

Meeting point: Fureai-hiroba (ふれあい広場) near the Kanri-bashi bridge (管理橋).

l  A plastic-sheeted area for personal belongings is provided for your use under your own responsibility.

l Please ensure that you are in good health on the day of the race.

l Cost: 2300 yen (insurance inclusive) for 10k, 1700 yen (insurance inclusive) for 5k.

l         Times will be recorded ONLY for the top finishers in the 10k (being a fun-run, no time recording for the 5k).

l         Awards will be given to the top 6 males, top 3 females in the 10k, and first male & female for the 5k. There will also be an “environmental-awareness-PR” prize (a prize for effective promotion of “environmental awareness” through personalised costumes and/or bib numbers).
