About Me:

I used to be a competitive runner .. ran with college triathlon athletes in Pennsylvania .. but now I am trying to get back. The progress is far better than expected, and I now feel comfortable joining with a group like this....should be able to do a half-marathon towards Oct/Nov. I am also interested in: climbing Mt. Fuji & Asama (just did it last week), mountain cycling, mountain running, cardio or power exercises. I also do Yoga and meditation (semi-vegetarian).
I am an artist (use of light in celestial themes...more on my website.), and I know that burst of creative energy and burst of physical energy are inter-related. This is why I am here. I spent half of my life abroad (US, Canada, UK), but I am very rooted to the traditional Japanese values (serenity as opposed to noise) and also know the country&Tokyo very well. I am also a professional conference interpreter.
