About Me:
I am new to running marathons, just started running six years ago. Age-wise, though, I am a veteran and trying and suceeding in winning my age-category in several races.
Recently, I ran the 56k Two Oceans Ultra-Marathon in Capetown and placed 18th in my age-group in a time of 4:23:34.
On December 26.2010, I won the Boxing Day race in Hong Kong against strong younger competition.
Hello Francis,
thanks a lot for the lovely pictures! There are quite a few Africans on this site, but they usually do not contribute very much, maybe due to technical problems or lack of computer-knowledge. It is great, finally, somebody gets beyond that level! Seeing the pictures, I would really like to visit! Actually, I think Matthias, one of our members, who is a professor for African languages, ran the same race!
Why don't you drop him a line at: http://runningintokyo.com/profile/MatthiasBrenzinger
Unfortunately, I am tight up in Japan/Germany, but I hope, one day we can meet in person!
Cheers, Juergen

Hey Francis,
seems you're in great shape as usual! It's terribly cold here in Germany, so I run long, but not fast, it's too hard on the lungs!
Do you do any repeats? I think you should try to work on your speed, good luck!
