DESCRIPTION:RacingThePlanet: Patagonia 2017 is a 7-day, 250-kilometer 
 / 155-mile self-supported footrace which takes place in Bariloche in A
 rgentina. It’s a one –off race that is part of the 4 Deserts Race 
 Series. The course presents a great variety of Patagonian landscape 
 including dry pampas, ancient forests, pristine blue mountain lakes,
  high plateaus, vast views of valleys, rivers as well as peaks of t
 he Andes Mountain Range including El Tronador, an extinct volcano lo
 cated along the border between Argentina and Chile; and Ventisquero N
 egro, the black glacier, one of the eight glaciers formed around the m
 ountain.  Competitors will also experience life in local villages wit
 h friendly locals, Gauchos, as they traverse the 250 kilometer course
